  • We will then contact you to obtain your logo and any text/photo direction you care to provide. If you’d like to use our text or photos, just let us know at this time.

  • We will then generate a work order for your project, and our design team will get started creating a customized proof.

  • Once our design team has created a proof, we will e-mail and/or fax it to you for review.

  • You will then let us know if you’d like to make any changes, or if the project is approved for printing as is. Your order includes an initial design based on your direction, plus two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions will be charged at $95 per round.

  • Once we’ve made any changes and secured your approval, we will print your project. This may take from 3 to 10 business days depending on what you ordered.

  • Prior to shipping your finished product, we will collect the order balance. If we have a credit card on file, we will use that. If you want to pay by check, please let us know and we will send you a balance invoice as soon as possible.

  • Once we’ve collected your order balance, we’ll ship your order and send you an e-mail with a UPS tracking number.

Every Door Direct Mail

EDDM is a mailing option from the US Postal Service. Instead of using a mailing list, you chose entire carrier routes from the EDDM website.

How Does it Work?

Step 1: Choose your carrier routes.

Use the USPS mapping tool to choose the carrier routes you want to mail to. Remember that you will be mailing to every residential address on the routes you choose. Make a note of how many homes are on the routes you want to target. If you set up an account on the USPS site, you can save your route selections.

Step 2: Let Focal Point design and print awesome postcards for you.

Let us know what services you want to promote, and we will make suggestions about the size of the card and the number of times to mail. We will design an EDDM card that gets attention and looks too nice to throw away. Once you are happy with the design, we will print them, bundle them in 100’s, and ship them to you.

Step 3: Take the cards to the post office.

The last step is for you to take your cards to the post office that serves the routes you are mailing. You don’t need to address each card; instead you give the USPS a “facing slip” (generated by the EDDM website above) when you drop them off. You also pay the post office directly for the postage, which is currently $0.192/piece. You get this low postage rate because you are mailing to entire postal routes, and because you are saving them significant effort by delivering them to the delivery point post office.

Since you are taking the cards to the local branch post office, the delivery times are very fast, typically one or two days. So as a for instance, you could watch the weather and drop them on a Thursday when you know the weekend is going to be warm weather. You can also mail them when you are working in an area, in order to target homeowners when you are already visible in the neighborhood.
