Where We Started
In 1974, my parents started one of the first chemical lawn care companies in the Cincinnati area.
Mr. Green Corp grew to several thousand full-program clients before they sold it in the late 70s and started a family. The pull of the work drew them back, though, and in 1982, they started GreenWorld Lawn Care, the company I remember from my childhood. My brothers and I ended up at their shop a lot after school, hanging out in the warehouse and getting in trouble for playing Tarzan on the vinyl tank-filling hose and generally being underfoot and in the way.
Throughout their time growing both these companies, they saw how proactive marketing and good communication grew their business and increased client retention.
In 1987, they sold their operation and jumped into the world of desktop publishing, as Focal Point Communications. Focal Point was started in our family living room, with the goal of helping other lawn and landscape businesses benefit from having professional marketing materials to communicate with their company and prospects.
The roots of our work grew out of companies like yours, and even today, we are incorporated as GreenWorld Enterprises. We appreciate the opportunity to help you get new leads, educate your clients, and communicate the value of the work you do.
